Humming for Health

Operation Meditation Tiree was established with a view to improving resilience during the Covid-19 pandemic. At the start of the lockdown, the focus was on the daily meditation that concentrated on creating calm by developing love for the self, the other, and the enemy. During stress, it's easy take on the role of victim - of circumstances (the virus itself, lockdown, people who are breaching lockdown rules, inept politicians, etc.). Now, as lockdown lifts and we begin to move back into public spaces, we need to develop other forms of resilience. Amongst the qualities that we can develop in ourselves to smooth our way out of lockdown is physical resilience and we can do this easily by meditating using Om or by humming.
